in stitches: lounge recovery

There is no explanation needed here. The work has begun, unpicking the base of the removable cover to use as a pattern. Whilst she is clearly shedding her skin, there is still some life left in her bones. The vintage sheet is just there until i get this job complete.

  6. You are such a brave soul. I have been wanting to do the same with ours for a few years now but haven't the motivation to actually start it...maybe seeing yours complete will give me the kick I need :)

  7. haha @Tammi- it's been going for a while, the motivation to fix it came `when i noticed my children's legs were getting stuck in the exposed piping! :)
